When was Turftech founded and out of a need for what?
Turftech was founded in 2016 by Len Ludick – ‘Being involved in the industry for a very long period, I noticed that there was a big need from the client’s side to have a personal connection with a company that is owner driven and most importantly, client obsessed – the client needs to come first!’
What would you describe as your team’s core values?
From the start I built a team that has the same beliefs and values that I have and this is the key to the success of the business. Even today, we still build the business around these beliefs and values as it is all about the people that you surround yourself with that ultimately makes the business!
What are some of you proudest achievements as a company?
Personally, I enjoy seeing how everyone in the business grows and takes responsibility for their various divisions and tasks, the ownership everyone takes is truly amazing to see. We are an exceptionally diverse and forward-thinking construction company that not only constructed the first Artificial World Rugby Accredited Field in SA, but also the first ever Artificial Cricket Oval in SA. We are at the same time expanding & building a strong maintenance division which we are very proud of.
